Where Are The Sinners?

Jesus said, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick". Mat 9:12 (NKJV).
In today's church most Christians think that going to church on Sunday is all that is needed. Spending time in church and fellowshipping with other Christian's is necessary but what happens afterward? My question has always, been are there people coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ in your church?
Jesus didn't spend his time in the Synagogue listening to the priests. Jesus spent his time preaching to sinners and teaching his disciples. Yes there will the occasional sinner who gives his life to Christ in a church service but really how often does that happen today? We as Christians must follow Jesus' example. We must go out to where the sinners are and lead them to Him. I call it sidewalk evangelism. Meeting sinners where they are. At work, at the mall, at a restaurant, or on the street.
Why don't we do this anymore? Go door to door and reach out to those who are hurting and inviting people to church. Most people say that they would go to church if someone invited them. If you are sitting in the comfortable pew every Sunday waiting for the sinners to come to you, you may be there for a long time. The church must reach out beyond the four walls of the building and reach out to the people who will spend their eternity in hell if no one leads them to Christ.
Men of God, stand up and take a vow that your ministry will be like Jesus ministry. Out side of the church where the people who need Him are living. Spread the gospel and tell them that there is hope and that Jesus is the only way.

As Iron Sharpens Iron

Proverbs 27:17 tells us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”(NIV).   We as Christian men must follow this Proverb.  There are men in this world that need mentors and Christian examples to emulate.  The standard of this world will not teach or model what a Man of God is today.  Only a Godly Man can do that.  A man that is on fire for Christ, loves his wife and children, and loves God more than anything else in this world.  Those men are few and far between today.  Most men are sperm donors and not fathers.  Most men today are either trying to climb the corporate ladder and neglecting their families or making babies and walking away with no responsibility what so ever.

God needs Men of honor and courage.  Men who will lay down their lives for others and who will take the responsibility of being the priests of their home.  Men who will put on the whole armor of God and go into battle to protect their families from the forces of evil that will come against them.

Men of God, you need to start everyday on your knees.  This is where the battle takes place.  Your prayer life is a major weapon against darkness and spiritual forces.  Bible study is your battle plan for winning against the powers of the air.  You are not fighting against flesh and blood but the powers and principalities of the air.  The sooner you realize that fact the sooner that you can become strong in the Lord.

Are you a warrior for Christ or are you a bench warmer who is allowing others to do battle for you?  Are you that Christian example to your family and to other men?  Think about that.  Are you willing to fight for your family and your faith?  You must decide whom you will serve.  Will it be Christ or will it be satan?  It’s your choice.  Make it today.
